Tis The Season I'm still Jolly!

Updated: Dec 30, 2020

Can you believe that we are in the last month of the year? How awesome is that!

This year has definitely been a roller coaster, but yawl, WE MADE IT!!!

COVID-19 came in and shook up our world, with all of us having to change the way we live and deal with life on a daily. Police brutality has been at an all time high with so many people losing their lives.

What an election! We had so many people losing their minds. I promise I can go on and on, but you know where I'm coming from. I was even blessed to see my 32nd birthday. WHAT A YEAR! But we made it to the month of December.

Everybody has their favorite month, holiday and season. December has it all for me. Its something about the fall and winter that brings me peace, Christmas brings me so much joy. No matter what happen during the year, this month gives me a sign of relief. From the winter wear to the Christmas movies, this is the time I would definitely want to be a stay at home wife and enjoy the perks.

It's something about the cool weather that soothes my anxiety and keeps me calm. My mind runs at a thousand miles an hour, I'm still learning how to find the balance. I'm in a good position of control but every now and then its off the grid. I'm the type of person that will be in the middle of a task, something will pop up in my head, then I will stop to start a new task without even thinking or noticing I've started on something new. My husband laughs at me all the time because he pretty much knows my every move. It's crazy to say at the age of 32 I'm still learning to time mange myself. Over thinking is definitely a disability sometimes, but its manageable.

For the most part I'm a very happy person. Its when I get into my own head that draws out depression and anxiety. Learning to not dwell on my past hurt and poor decisions comes with growth. I have a happy little family and I can't allow that to disturb their peace and happiness.

I love to see the smiles and warmth in peoples eyes and hearts. No matter how I'm feeling I can't help but smile and feel the love. LOVE is in the atmosphere. TIS THE SEASON!
